A short game made in just a few days for:

 Cozy Winter Jam 2023

Theme: Better Together

The Story:

You will be playing as a little doggo named Juno building snowmen, snowcats rather, with her wife Cathline. It's something they love doing together each year when they get their first big snowfall. And they don't make just one, they make several. 12 in fact. It's a festive number they pulled from the song, "12 Days of Christmas". Nowhere in the song does it mention Snowcats but they don't have the budget for what's really in the lyrics. Snowcats will have to do.

Juno and Cathline divide the task of building a snowcat evenly between them. Cathline builds the body and Juno builds the head. But for some reason, they never build next to each other. Perhaps they don't like sharing each other's snow, weirdos. Or maybe Juno does it so she has an excuse to yeet the finished head. The problem with that though is that there are often things in her way.

Controls:

Walk: A, D or Left and Right arrow keys

Jump: W, Space, or Up

Punt: Z or Left Mouse Click

R: Reset the head's position

Q: Quit to Title Screen

The Theme:

Building a snowman was all I could think of doing with the theme "Better Together" that was within scope. Snowmen are usually made up of a few distinguished parts that you can easily divide up. Putting together said parts seemed like it could be a fun challenge. The theme also made me want to design a couple that is better together. They don't help each other mechanically in the game but you can be sure they're a very happy couple.
