This game was made in a little over a week for the Fireside Jam 2023

The theme of the jam is: Guide

____________________________________________________________________________

This short game will be following a doggo named June on her first day as a Park Keeper. In order for her to learn the ropes a peppy weasel named Hadley will be guiding her around and ensuring she performs her duties. Hadley won't mind if June misses a few things though. She's pretty easygoing.

I designed this to be a very mellow game with no losing state though it may test your ability to multitask. But you can skip a few things. It just means you won't complete the game as fast. It's kind of a response to my last jam game that some people found to be impossible. I believe that's largely due to obtuse mechanics and a lack of clarity so I tried to make the gameplay for this one fairly simple with a detailed tutorial. The cutesy tone also stands in stark contrast to my previous game with, though not explicit, lewd visuals. I felt like doing something different.

This is lovely, but I think there's a bug/mistake where red ivy can spawn almost directly behind the garbage can. That might happen with plants too. Makes it a little tricky to get both, even if you don't have to.

I love the atmosphere and the adorable characters. A bit surprised by the ending. Not complaining though. It's cute.

Thank you! I did have a fix for stacking objects but it had its own issues so I left it as is because it's a jam project but I could try a different approach later.

Alright. That makes sense. It's a rare issue anyway.
