Made in a few days for the 135th Mini Jam: Deception

You are a selfless adventurer delving into a peculiar dungeon known as the Deception Dungeon to earn money for your two little crotch goblins. Literal goblins. You adopted them after seeing their home burn down. Could've been you. Who's to say? One thing that is certain though is that wizards should write more descriptive warnings for their fire spells. Until they do it's up to adventurers like you to save little goblin babies from burning orphanages. That’s just the kind of person you are. Kids are so expensive though. You didn't budget for this! If you want them to be happy and fed you’ll need to earn lots of gold.

Deception Dungeon is home to many traps and cunning monsters. The dangers in this dungeon come from a place of deceit. But there are a few friendly faces and treasures that are exactly as they seem. It’s up to you to decide what is and isn’t worth the risk.

Interface:

Green Button: Proceed with the encounter and expend 1 turn

Red Button: Pass on the encounter and expend energy

Reveal: Reveal whether or not it is a trap at a cost. This will also show the exact stats the encounter affects and in what amount.

  Exit: Leave the dungeon early

.......................................................................................................

Notes:

I had to rush this one at the end so a few areas lack polish. If anyone lets me know of any particularly horrendous problems I'll be sure to patch it.

I wanted to do more with the story, create a character for the player rather than make them a nameless adventurer, and draw the goblin children but I didn't leave nearly enough time for that. Oh well. If enough people actually care about this game maybe I'll expand it.
