Nakki (4 Color Art Jam)
A downloadable project
I stumbled upon an art jam when looking for something to do and found this one:

The challenge:
Create an artwork using these 4 colors
When I saw these colors I thought of the character I use for my avatar, Nakki. She's an OC I made a while ago and has since been the face of Fava Beans for whatever reason. Something I do often is experiment with stylization and for a time she was the subject of my experimentation. But it's been over two years since I've done anything with her so I thought now would be a good time to play around with her again. First I wanted to do some fancy rendering with dynamic angles but got lazy and just focused on using these colors to make something that popped. And maybe make it a little sexy. Didn't like it much though so I made another image and this time did something cute:
The colors ended up being harder to use than I predicted so it's not my best work but I think what I made is passable considering the conditions. I made these two images available if you want to save somebody else's OC but I'm not sure why you would. Perhaps you like my demon? Well, allow me to introduce her:
Nakki is the protagonist of a game I conceived in college that has yet to go anywhere. Basically, she's a demon that runs a restaurant and she hunts monsters to acquire the meat for her dishes. Typically she's nice and bubbly unlike the most popular portrayal of demons and her skin is blue. But she will become red and more like the classic demonic when you push her buttons. And that's it. I mean, there is a lot more but I don't think you'll read it.
- Here's my very first concept art of her -
(surprisingly the design never changed from the first draft):

i love these! i would never guess you felt they were not your best work, they're both beautiful.
Thanks! I don't think they're that bad but I also feel I could've done more with this challenge and push the stylization more.
